Tour Preparation & On-Site Support
Every tour presents different challenges. The intensity of the shows, travel days, setlists, production schedules, and physical strain all affect a singer’s performance anew every day. That’s why my support isn’t based on standard programs, but on a customized performance plan that adapts flexibly to the artist, the production, and the tour itinerary.
Core Areas of Support
- Preparing the voice for the actual demands of the production
- Customized warm-ups and cool-downs
- Managing vocal strain throughout the entire tour
- Recovery strategies for the voice, body, and nervous system
- Analysis of the setlist, show intensity, and peak strain periods
- Support with in-ear monitoring and live performance
- Continuous optimization throughout the entire tour
Throughout our collaboration, I will serve as the direct point of contact for the artist, management, and production teams, and will continuously tailor my support to the tour’s specific needs.
Acute Voice Care
When vocal problems arise shortly before a show, quick and well-informed decisions are essential. The goal of my support is to assess the situation functionally as quickly as possible, stabilize the voice’s performance capacity as best as possible, and work together to develop a clear plan of action for show day.
Depending on the situation, I provide support on-site or remotely at short notice—with immediately effective adjustments to vocal technique, manual techniques, and individually tailored measures to stabilize the voice.
Acute care includes, among other things:
- Initial functional assessment of the current vocal condition
- Prioritization and personalized action plan leading up to the show
- Immediate adjustments to vocal technique to stabilize performance
- Manual vocal therapy to reduce functional tension
- Coordination with the artist, management, musical director, or production team when adjustments to the show’s schedule are warranted
- Response time for urgent requests is typically within 15–30 minutes, depending on availability and ongoing productions
