Professional tours place new demands on a voice every day. The intensity of the shows, travel, setlists, in-ear monitoring, recovery, and mental stress all intertwine—and it is precisely at these intersections that my work begins.

For many years, I have been working with professional artists on club, arena, and festival tours, as well as on TV productions and studio recordings. I develop customized performance systems that keep voices powerful, resilient, and consistently reliable over the long term under the real-world conditions of daily touring.

I combine tour preparation, vocal coaching, acute and emergency care, manual voice therapy, and strategies for recovery and stress management into a support concept that flexibly adapts to the artist, the production, and the tour schedule.

My goal is not to change a voice. My goal is to support artists in delivering their best performance night after night with maximum confidence, consistency, and expressiveness.

Why Tour Coaching Is Different

Tours are an ecosystem of their own. Recurring problems often arise not only from technical issues, but from the interplay of setlist structure, the intensity of the show, mental pressure, in-ear monitoring, recovery, the stress of traveling, and physical strain.

My approach takes this big picture into account — so that solutions work not only in the coaching room, but also on show day.

How I Work

I work in a structured, efficient, and results-oriented manner:

• Assessment before action: What is the problem — and what is the root cause in the context of the tour?
• Integration into the repertoire: Techniques and tools must work within the context of songs, the setlist, and the reality of the show.
• Routines over chance: Warm-up, cool-down, pacing, recovery — all tailored to call time and the schedule.
• Team player: If desired, brief coordination with management, production, or the musical director to ensure solutions fit into the process.
• Discreet: Confidentiality is standard; NDAs are possible.

TOOLS AND METHODS:

I never consider the voice in isolation.

My work combines modern vocal technique with performance optimization, stress management, and individualized preparation for the specific demands of a production. The goal is not to alter a voice, but to preserve its quality, expressiveness, and resilience over the long term.

Every artist receives a personalized support plan. This includes, among other things, targeted tour and show preparation, customized warm-ups and cool-downs, short-term vocal adjustments during live performances, manual vocal and muscle therapy, recovery strategies, and support in acute stress or emergency situations.

I do not follow a single vocal method. Instead, I combine scientifically grounded insights from vocal physiology with many years of experience in tour productions and various international vocal approaches. What matters is not which method an exercise comes from, but whether it helps the artist in their specific situation.

My focus is always on the performance as a whole.

I help artists deliver reliable vocal performances under the real-world conditions of a tour or production—whether it involves preparing for a tour, providing daily support during a series of shows, or quickly stabilizing a voice under heavy strain.

Because in the end, it’s not the perfect technique that counts
